OSTEOPATHY
Basic principles of osteopathy:

Each person is an individual unit. Formed by body, mind and soul.

Body, mind and soul interact with each other and the environment. These interactions have a direct influence on well-being.

Humans have self-regulating mechanisms and the natural ability to heal themselves.
Based on these ideas, osteopathy represents an independent form of medical care.
Diagnosis and treatment are primarily carried out by the hands , i.e. manually. In addition to the element of touch, conversation and personal interaction play an important role.
Osteopathic treatment starts with the causes of ailments and includes various factors, physical and non-physical in nature. The focus on individual health, in terms of salutogenesis, plays an important role.

TREATMENT PROCEDURE
Duration of the initial appointment: 65-75min.
Duration of the follow-up appointment: 45-55min.
The initial appointent consists of a detailed history, physical examination and the first treatment steps. At the end of the appointment a plan for a further course of treatment will be tailored to your individual needs.
Please bring any previous medical findings and laboratory reports.
COSTS
For statutory health insurance:
Initial appointment: about 110 € (depending on time required)
Follow-up appoinment: 95 €

For private health insurance:
perforamance based about 125 €

For infants, I offer home visits in certain cases. If you are interested, please contact me and we will discuss whether a home visit is an option. The costs for a home visit are based on the GebüH (numbers 9.1 and 10.1).
You can pay the amount on site in cash or with an EC card or by bank transfer after receiving the invoice. The invoice is based on the fee schedule for alternative practitioners (GebüH). Osteopathy is exempt from sales tax.
If you are unable to keep an agreed appointment, I ask you to cancel it up to 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations are charged a cancellation fee of 60€.
I offer discounts for people in difficult financial situations. Please talk to me about it.
COST ASSUMPTION
In addition to private health insurances and grants, many public and statutory health insurances subsidize osteopathic treatments.
The prerequisite for the subsidization of the osteopathic treatment by the statutory health insurance is the membership of the treating osteopath in an association. I am a member of the VFO (Association Free Osteopaths).
In addition, most health insurance companies require a doctor's referal. The amount of the subsidy varies depending on your health insurance.
